Notes

Please let us know if you are using fire such as an OKUDO-SAN, a wood stove, or a BBQ.
No pets allowed (except for service dogs)
There are no convenience stores within a 10-minute drive, no supermarkets within a 20-minute drive, and no restaurants nearby where you can eat in the evening. If you require meals, please make a reservation at least 4 days in advance using the "Booking Form"
The water coming out of the taps is well water, so it is not drinkable.
Drinking water is provided in plastic bottles, so please feel free to help yourself.
For cooking, use it through a filter.
Concerning alcoholic beverages, drinking is permitted, but due to licensing restrictions, Villa Retreat is not able to sell alcoholic beverages, so please bring your own.
The Private Lodging Business Act requires that the guest register include the name, address, occupation, and dates of stay of each guest.
In addition, customers residing outside of Japan will be required to submit a copy of their passport to verify their nationality.
Please strictly observe the following prohibitions:
- Smoking (within the premises, on the road, and in the surrounding forests)
- Handling fire other than for cooking
- Behavior that is a nuisance to neighbors (noise, shouting, drunkenness, parties, etc.)
- Illegal activities (littering, parking on the street, arson, theft, etc.)
- Bringing in animals, flammable or combustible materials, firearms, swords, marijuana, narcotics, stimulants, and other illegal drugs, as well as Import prohibited items
- Gambling, prostitution, and other acts that disrupt public morals
